Welcome to SPLOTweb - the web site of Splott Poly Lost Old Timers. SPLOT was founded as the old boys club for Cardiff University Rambling and Orienteering societies. However these days SPLOT is as much a social club as it is an orienteering club. From this site you will be able to find out about the origins and history of the club, who we are and what we do.

There is also a members only area, offering a virtual meeting place for club members. If you not yet a member of SPLOT then you have three options for joining:

• Go to Cardiff University and spend the three years playing in the hills as a member of either the Rambling or Orienteering Club (it worked for most of us).
• Marry an existing member (it worked for some of us but is not necessarily recommended).
• Get one of your parents to marry an existing member (as above but if you are reading this it's a bit late).
